Kim Cosner Lilley

Homes have always been a subject of fascination for Kim. Styles, floorplans, finishes, and craftsmanship are a focus when Kim tours a home. She is always excited to discover how a homeowner has created their unique haven. Kim can quickly find the potential in any home, whether it needs a little updating or a more in-depth repair and redesign.

New homes are also one of Kim’s specialties, having worked with many of the local builders while representing clients. She loves helping clients choose between the myriad of options when buying a new build. Kim prides herself on taking the time to truly understand the wants and needs of her buyer and seller clients. Once she gets to know them, Kim can quickly zero in on the homes that best fit their needs. For sellers, Kim feels it is imperative to educate them on the selling process and provide information on ways to best present their home to the public.

In addition to residential, Kim has a background in undeveloped land and timber farming. Albemarle and the surrounding counties boast many beautiful tracts appropriate for agriculture or even a personal getaway to nature. Kim first earned her REALTOR® designation in 2014. Prior to working in real estate, Kim spent 15 years as a specialist in public relations, marketing and special event management. She handled public relations and publicity assignments with clients such as 7-Eleven, Tidewater Builders Association, The Noland Company, and the City of Virginia Beach Tourism. In her spare time, Kim enjoys being with her family and many pets, reading science fiction and fantasy, and taking frequent trips to the beach.
