Andrea’s distinct approach to real estate comes from a foundation in design. Trained as an architect, she excels at helping clients see the big-picture potential in properties; balancing dream home desires with local market perspective, a passion for design, and a deep understanding of building science. An unwavering advocate for her clients, Andrea utilizes her architectural background to help buyers and sellers make considered decisions; whether choosing the right property for their lifestyle, weighing the value of renovation expenses, or connecting them with a network of trusted resources.

In 2005, Andrea transplanted her Florida roots to Virginia to continue her education, earning a master’s degree in architecture from UVA. In addition to working as an architectural designer and photographer in Charlottesville, Andrea also co-founded Our Local Commons, publishing four books celebrating Charlottesville’s vibrant food and beverage community. In 2016, she and her husband, Brian, founded HubbHouse, a full-service residential design firm. That same year, Andrea combined her passions for housing, design, marketing, and photography and earned her license to sell real estate. She was named the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors Rising Star of the Year in 2017.

Andrea continually appreciates the inherent beauty and culture of central Virginia, while also working to make Charlottesville a better home for all. As Board Chair of the Virginia Discovery Museum, Andrea is committed to supporting access to inspiring educational experiences for all children in our community. She also spent several years on the board of Oasis Village, working to develop an intergenerational community of support for single mothers in Charlottesville.

In her downtime, Andrea plays in and around Charlottesville, enjoying all central Virginia has to offer with Brian, their son, Clyde, and their two pups, Lemon and Cash. Full of recommendations, she’s happy to share her favorites with anybody who asks.
